Even as a child I have been fascinated by all kinds of fabrics – may it have been my mother’s dresses, may grandma’s table cloths or my grandaunt’s laces from Brussels...

This enthusiasm has persisted until today and the manifold creative possibilities are time and again a great challenge for my artistic work.
